Liz Clark joined Haven Ministries in January 2005. Her role as Assistant to the Executive Director, Office Manager, and Resource/Case Manager is multifaceted. Liz's experience and background brings a fresh perspective to the team. She possesses skills in IT, fundraising, accounting, and community service, and she has a genuine passion for helping others.
Her primary responsibility at Haven Ministries is to support clients who are struggling financially. Whether the need is for rent, utility bills, healthcare, or employment, Liz serves as a liaison between clients and the available community resources. She oversees the Haven Ministries Church Benevolent Fund, assisting over 100 clients annually with their rent and utility bills. Her caring, friendly, and calm demeanor is invaluable in making decisions on how to best support clients.
Liz manages various office tasks, such as answering phones, ordering supplies, organizing the office, handling mail, entering deposits, and preparing reports for the accountant—duties essential to effective office management. She also supports the Executive Director with numerous projects.
Liz's strengths include being an achiever, having focus and discipline, the ability to win others over, and strong communication skills. She resides in Queenstown, MD, has two adult daughters, and enjoys boating, swimming, waitressing, and bowling.
