
On January 22, 2025, the Board of Directors hosted a luncheon at Kent Island Resort to celebrate and express heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff and volunteers who are the backbone of the organization! More than 50 dedicated team members and volunteers joined in the joyous occasion.
The leadership team in attendance included Peter Grim, Executive Director; Mary Jeeter, outgoing Office Manager; Liz Clark, incoming Office Manager & Assistant to the Executive Director; Mary Jourdak, Housing & Shelter Director; Susie Reckord, Volunteer Coordinator; Amanda James, Food Pantry Director; Sue Hitt, Assistant Food Pantry Manager; Liz Bazzel, Our Daily Thread Thrift Store Manager; and Sheran Fraser, Hope Warehouse Manager.
Jack Gottschalk, President of the board, delivered prayers and a rousing message of thanks and inspiration to all who serve the ministry.
Peter Grim expressed heartfelt gratitude and admiration for Mary Jeeter, who is stepping down after many incredible years at Haven Ministries as the Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Case Worker. We are excited to welcome Liz Clark as her successor!
