Haven Ministries has experienced a year filled with meaningful growth and community support. The numbers tell a story of hope, resilience, and shared commitment. Celebrating Our Impact in 2025

In 2025, Haven Ministries provided critical assistance to thousands of individuals and families facing hardship. Here are some key highlights that demonstrate the breadth and depth of our work:

• Food Assistance

We supported 8,279 households, reaching a total of 25,425 individuals with food aid. This effort included 23 food outreaches hosted through our Food Pantry Truck, which brought fresh and nutritious food directly to neighborhoods with limited access.

• Emergency Shelter

Our emergency shelter program served 33 guests, providing safe and secure places for those experiencing homelessness during their most vulnerable times.

• Financial Support

Through the Benevolence Fund, 175 individuals received financial assistance totaling $56,589. This aid helped cover essential bills and prevent further crises.

• Housing Stability

A major milestone was the purchase of a third Home of Hope, which already houses residents. In total, 27 individuals, including 17 adults and 10 children, found stable housing through this program this year.

• Clothing and Furniture Assistance

We provided 53 households with clothing and furniture, helping families rebuild their homes and lives with dignity.

• Jacob Sloan Center Services

The Jacob Sloan Center saw 871 visits for housing, shelter, education, and job training assistance. Visitors also accessed shower, laundry, library, and computer services, which are vital for daily living and self-sufficiency.

Each of these numbers represents real people whose lives have been touched by the generosity and dedication of our community. The impact goes beyond statistics—it is about restoring hope and building futures.

Expanding Our Reach in 2026

Looking ahead, Haven Ministries is committed to growing our programs and deepening our impact. We have set clear goals that respond to the evolving needs of our community:

• Increase Food Distribution in Rural Areas

Many rural communities still face food insecurity due to limited access. We plan to extend our Food Pantry Truck routes and partner with local organizations to reach these underserved areas.

• Community Education on Homelessness and Poverty

Awareness is key to fostering empathy and action. We will launch educational initiatives to help the community understand what homelessness and poverty look like locally, breaking down stereotypes and encouraging support.

• Create a Kitchen at The Jacob Sloan Day Center

A new kitchen will allow homeless families to prepare healthy meals, improving nutrition and providing a sense of normalcy and dignity.

• Build Stronger Community Partnerships

Collaboration with other nonprofits, businesses, and local leaders will help us better meet the diverse needs of our neighbors and create more comprehensive support networks.
