A Community of Generosity: 100 Plates for the Hungry Raises Over $66,000
An evening gathered around the table will make a lasting difference for neighbors facing hunger and homelessness. Haven Ministries’ 100 Plates for the Hungry raised over $66,000, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, guests, donors, and volunteers.
Behind that remarkable total are people whose lives these funds will touch: a parent seeking groceries to feed their children, a neighbor needing a warm place to sleep, and a family working toward stable housing. Your support helps Haven Ministries offer essential assistance, compassionate care, and hope here in our community.
Guests came together to enjoy delicious food, connect with friends, and give with open hearts. The Raise the Paddle alone brought in $12,200—double last year’s total. That generosity, along with sponsorships, ticket purchases, and auction participation, helped turn a memorable evening into meaningful support for our neighbors.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors who helped make this event possible: American Legion, Modera Wealth, PNC, Ed and Jami Wilson, Waterman Realty, Jacob Sloan Foundation, IPDS, What’s Up Media, DiDonato Foundation, Steve Kennedy and Jennifer Thomas, CSSI, Fred and Linda Klingensmith, Delmarva, Acker and Sons Inc., Beau Wilder, Miltec, ODental, Keep the Beat, Choptank Electric, Queenstown Bank, JC Warner, Toni McDowell, TTU Promotions, Superior Bookkeeping, PRS, and DiDonato Properties, as well as our anonymous supporter.

We also gratefully recognize our additional food and beverage sponsors: Chesapeake Chef Service, Chesapeake Manor Vineyard, Queenstown Pizzeria, and Rams Head. Thank you for sharing your talents and resources to bring our community together in support of our neighbors.
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Pretty Little Wedding Company for their generous in-kind donation. Your contribution helped make this special evening possible, and we are grateful for your kindness and support.
To every volunteer, auction donor, guest, and person who worked behind the scenes: your contribution mattered. Together, you made this event a celebration of what a caring community can accomplish.
The evening may be over, but its impact continues. Every gift helps Haven Ministries provide food, shelter, and support as neighbors take their next steps toward stability.
Thank you for coming to the table—and helping us make sure others have a place at one, too.
